1. AS A RESULT OF DAMAGE SUSTAINED BY USS LIBERTY
AGTR5,
AN IMMEDIATE INSPECTION OF THE SHIP IS REQUIRED. LIBERTY
PRESENTLY ENROUTE TO SOUDHA BAY ESCORTED BY FLEET TUG
PAPAGO AND TWO DESTROYERS. AFTER DETAILING SURVEY OF
DAMAGE, LIBERTY WILL PROBABLY REQUIRE VOYAGE REPAIRS AND
MAY REQUIRE DRY DOCKING. FURTHER IT IS IMPERATIVE THAT
LIBERTY'S APPROXIMATELY FIVE FIVE MEDICAL CASES BE AIR
EVACUATED EARLIEST UPON ARRIVAL SOUDHA.
