EVACUEES VICINITY ALEXANDRIA. ARRANGEMENTS
FOR EVACUATION BY SS KARENA (CARINA) NOW PROCEEDING
SATISFACTORILY AND WE BELIEVE ALL DEPARTING AMERICANS
WILL BE ACCOMMODATED THAT VESSEL, WHICH DUE ARRIVE
ALEXANDRIA BREAKWATER 0900 LOCAL JUNE 10. NO PRESENT
NEED YOU PICKUP FROM BEACH. HOWEVER, SHIP WILL BE
CARRYING APPROX SIX HUNDRED PERSONS, WHEREAS HAS
CABIN FACILITIES, AND PRESUMABLY LIFE SAVING EQUIPMENT,
FOR ONLY FOUR HUNDRED SEVEN. THEREFORE REQUEST YOU
DESIGNATE ESCORT VESSEL TO STANDBY WELL OFF EGYPTIAN
COAST TO ESCORT KARENA TO PIREAUS.
