A telephone interview of George Golden, the Engineering Officer and third in command on the U.S.S. Liberty was conducted on March 11, 1991. The interview was tape-recorded and a transcript prepared from the tape was provided to George Golden as indicated in the 13th from the last paragraph in the transcript. The transcript was returned with a note from George Golden, saying "OK - Thanks, George." The note appears prior to the edited transcript. The handwritten edits were made by George Golden.
